Photographic memory jogging

Occasionally I will go through my photo library. I always look for the forgotten images which could possibly do with new attention or even a print. Sometimes I can remember the moment well when I took the picture and other times it is more vague but I enjoy reliving these moments when I look through my library.
Yesterday I was doing the same going through a folder of behind-the-scenes photos from a TV show a few years ago. I had been through this folder a few times in the last 2 years but it suddenly hit me that something happened on the day I had taken this specific set of photos. Somehow I had never made the connection. While on set and getting a quick coffee in between takes my wife phoned me to inform me that she had rescued a dog. It turned out Zara was the loveliest most beautiful pavement special we could have asked for. It just made me smile, because Elize is the last person to want to have a dog - we have been firmly in the cat camp since I can remember. But she rescued Zara in tears and now this lovely furry has been part of our lives for years. I remembered it while scrolling through action scenes of people smacking and shooting one another and it made my day brighter.
